Before Torbrook, Peter spent two decades in senior care. When he decided to build something of his own, the question was personal: what kind of place would he trust with his own father?
Eventually, his father lived here.
That standard still shows up in the details. In a caregiver who is already awake when someone needs help at 2 a.m. In a chef learning the meal a resident has loved for years. In a team that can make a decision without sending a family through layers of corporate approval.

Can family visit anytime?
Family is always welcome. No rigid visiting hours. Come for lunch, stay for the afternoon, drop by after work. Visits feel like visits, not check-ins. Phone calls get longer. Conversations get better. Everyone gets their role back.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. We've built dog doors for residents' pets and created outdoor spaces so animals can be comfortable too. Pets are part of life here. If a dog or cat is part of the daily routine, that routine doesn't have to change.
How quickly can someone move into Torbrook?
In many cases, within the same week. It starts with a call, then a care assessment to understand what level of support is needed. Some families need time. Others need this handled now. One daughter called in the morning and her mother was settled in by three that afternoon. Either way, we work at your pace.
